Repair and Maintenance

Inter Marine is the first choice for projects which involve significant permanent upgrades and improvements to existing vessels.

We can undertake re-fits, restorations, extensions and internal upgrades, covering every aspect of the project as required. A ship can have its primary purpose permanently changed - from freight transport to seismic exploration,
from trawlers to offshore support - thanks to Inter Marine's meticulous work scheduling and quality engineering.

For any scale of project, we have the technology and expertise; to safely split a ship in half and attach an extended central section, or to simply undertake propulsion upgrades or external cleaning/re-painting.

We can install wet units, undertake marine electrical engineering or even galley design on our clients’ behalf.

Conversions we’re able to undertake include:

• Lengthening of ships and rigs
• Converting trawlers to seismic survey or support ships
• Converting freight to passenger ships and vice versa
• Refitting internal fixtures
• Engine-room upgrades
• Fitting sponsons or additional decks
